IE (Information Entity) is a basic concept and refers to all file types managed by Kentucky. The following types are supported:

• XML-document

• Graphic

• File (like an office document, eg. Word, Excel etc..)

• MAP (collection of XML-documents divided in folders/sections)

• Video (collection of video and accompanying front image)
