Check Out IE

  • One IE must be selected

  • The status of the selected IE must be Draft

  • The selected IE must be assigned to the current user or not assigned to anyone (blank)

  1. Select the IE from the list

  2. Select Check Out using :

    • Select Toolbar  Check Out (Ctrl+U)

    • Select Context menu  Check Out

  3. The system locks the item, sets "Assigned To" to current user if blank, copies the item to the users local cache and opens the selected IE in an external program.

The user must be member of the group :

  • Document Administrators, to be able to check out the following IE types :

    • Xml Document

    • File

    • MAP

  • Graphic Administrators, to be able to check out the following IE types :

    • Graphic
